Made from centenarian vines of red garnatxa, this sweet red wine is made from late harvested grapes handpicked just before reaching over maturity at the beginning of November and matured 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
It’s sweet nose and clear, rounded, chocolate aromas stand out over background hints of coffee, liquorice, wild forest fruit jam, candied tomato, black olive and a touch of floral. This is a complex wine with a smooth, harmonious, lingering aftertaste.
Ideal as a partner for desserts, chocolates and blue cheeses.
